Cappelletti 120g + Brodo 150g

 

Japan’s January chill has that quiet, bone‑deep cold — the kind that makes you crave something warm enough to melt the edges of winter.

So this season, we’re bringing an Italian winter tradition straight into Pasta Playground: cappelletti in brodo, the original soup‑pasta comfort bowl.

 

“Cappelletti” means “little hats”, a shape born in Emilia‑Romagna centuries ago. Families would gather before Christmas to fold these tiny hats by hand, then serve them floating in hot broth on the coldest days of the year. 
 

For the filling, the traditional way was to put spinach and cheese.
We decided to boost the meaty flavor so have chosen kuroge wagyu and chiba venison filling — just pick your favorite in the flavor section:
 

  • Kuroge Wagyu: silky, rich, and deeply savory

  • Chiba Venison: lean, aromatic, and beautifully gamey
     

Both pair with our multi‑meat, slow‑simmered brodo, a broth layered with depth and warmth. One spoonful and you’re basically wrapped in a wool blanket, transported somewhere heavenly, far away from January’s cold edges. I hope you enjoy it like i do! I have already had 4 meals of this since January.

How to Cook (Zero stress. Maximum comfort.)

1. Boil 1L of water, add 10g salt

2. Cook the cappelletti from frozen for 4 minutes.

3. Warm your soup, then drop the cappelletti straight in.

 

That’s it. Finish with a sprinkle of parsley — or enjoy it just as it is, pure and perfect.
