Pici is a thick, hand-rolled pasta from Tuscany, made simply with flour and water, giving it a satisfyingly chewy texture. Its rustic shape is perfect for clinging to hearty sauces making every bite a cozy, comforting delight.
Strascinati are traditional pasta from southern Italy, especially Basilicata and Puglia, known for their rustic, hand-dragged shape that resembles little ovals or shells. The name comes from the Italian word "strascinare," meaning "to drag," referring to how the dough is pulled across a surface to create its signature texture. Their rough surface makes them perfect for clinging to hearty sauces like ragù
Our white ragu with pulled pork shoulder is the hearty yet elegant ragu to go for. Using Yonezawa pork, this precious type of Japanese pork flavor was stewed for hours to really melt down in the mouth. This beautiful ragu is something you will come back for.
How do I cook them at home?
All our pastas and sauces are rapid frozen right after shaped & packaged.
For the pasta, simply put into boiling salted water (10g for 1L water) in frozen condition.
For the sauce, soak the whole pack into warm water to de-freeze a bit, then simply put into the pan to heat it.
Once pasta is cooked according to instruction on pack, transfer the pasta to a pan with the sauce and mix. The pasta will soak in the flavor of the sauce and taste wonderful.
