STRASCINATI WITH WHITE RAGU OF PORK
(100g strascinati with 180g white ragu sauce)

Strascinati is a type of eggless pasta from Puglia, hand shaped into concave, also pea-pod like shape to capture sauces. Its chewy texture is something great to go with ragu. 
Our white ragu with pulled pork shoulder is the hearty yet elegant ragu to go for. Using Yonezawa pork, this precious type of Japanese pork flavor was stewed for hours to really melt down in the mouth. This beautiful ragu is something you will come back for.

 

How do I cook them at home?

All our pastas and sauces are rapid frozen right after shaped & packaged.
 

For the pasta, simply put into boiling salted water (10g for 1L water) in frozen condition. 
 

For the sauce, soak the whole pack into warm water to de-freeze a bit, then
i) simply put into the pan to heat it;
ii) place the bag in another pot of boiling water to heat it up;
iii) cut a hole and microwave for 3 minutes

 

Once pasta is cooked according to instruction on pack, transfer the pasta to a pan with the sauce and mix. The pasta will soak in the flavor of the sauce and taste wonderful.
